What the desk is
Gift Planner is a private list of people, occasions, ideas, and wrap status you type. You name a person with a nickname and a relationship tag. You pin an occasion and a budget band. You slide the ribbon from idea to given. Version 1.0.0 keeps that list on this phone. WILDER FINCH LLC publishes this product page, the privacy policy, and app support.
This is not a shop and it does not sell gifts. A budget band is a label, not a store price. Sizes and likes are notes you keep. They are not a shop profile. The desk does not promise a gift will be liked or arrive on time.
People, occasions, ribbons
- Name people yourself. Type a nickname and a relationship tag. This phone does not read your contacts.
- Pin an occasion and a band. Birthday, thanks, housewarming — plus a budget ribbon such as $25–40. Change the band after you write the idea.
- Slide the ribbon forward. Idea, shortlist, bought, wrapped, given. Each move stays on this phone.
Coming up and the open boxes
Coming up lists dates you typed. It is a desk list, not a shared calendar. All gifts opens every plan on the desk. Filter by person and band, then move a box along the ribbon.
Open a person card to see open boxes. Sizes and likes stay as notes. Open an occasion to see the gifts on that stamp. Tap a date with a gold dot. This is not a live calendar feed.
Ideas, spend, and wrap
An idea shortlist holds more than one guess on the same ribbon. Keep one. Leave the other as an alt. A spend log is a private note of place, date, and amount. It is not a store and not a receipt vault.
A wrap slip waits until the bow is on, then the ribbon can move to wrapped, then given. The ribbon board shows five lanes. A chip is a gift, not a task in a project tool.
Bands and templates
Budget bands help you sort. They are not live prices. Gift templates are local starters — a stamp plus a band. You still write the nickname and the idea. They are not a product list and not a recommendation engine.

History, stats, and theme
Each save writes a local snapshot. Newest first. A version diff shows what changed on this phone. It is not a cloud revision. Desk stats count people, stamps, and boxes. They are not a spend score.
Theme can be indigo wrap on cream paper, or a darker night table. Colors stay on this phone.
Reminders, photos, and backup
The desk works without notices. Turn reminders on only if you want a day-before ping. Notification permission is requested only after you turn reminders on. You can refuse and still use the wrap desk.
The photo picker opens only if you add a wrap photo. You can save the slip with no photo.
Backup writes JSON, CSV, or PDF to a folder you choose. The folder picker opens only when you export. Photos stay out unless you include them. Nothing is uploaded. If you cancel the picker, the desk on this phone stays as it was. Clearing the desk deletes every person, stamp, gift, and setting on this phone. A backup file you already wrote is left alone.
